AMD Products in Canada
« on: February 22, 2008 - 02:07:34 PM »
Has anyone in Canada found suppliers for the AMD product line?
I called AMD, they gave me a phone number for a guy in Ontario.

Does any one know of other distributors out west?

I thought the "authentic mopar restoration parts" products were also available at Chrsyler dealers.  I was told once that those were the parts listed in the restoration catalog.  Anyone else hear this?

The Mopar restoration products can be ordered by any Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge dealership.  Unfortunately many dealers do not take the time to become familar with these products.  If you have the restoration catalog, just take the part numbers to your local dealer and ask them to check current availability.  You could also order from another source, such as us or any others out there that do actively carry these products.

Good luck, and if we can help, give us a shout.

Dealerships usually mark up the prices a lot more than anyone else.

Am I missing something here?? Can't you order direct from AMD and have the parts shipped to Canada?? Don't they ship to Canada?? I mean what's up with that??

My apologies, for some reason I thought this thread was related to Mopar Performance Restoration products and problems finding a Canadian dealer.

2 things are going on here. One was a source for parts into or in canada, the other was brought up about restoration parts.

1. if you do not currently have a source in canada it would be advantagious to find someone in norhtern part of the states due to shipping costs

2. the clarification of the Authentic restoration parts.
72hemi is wrong in saying the dealers marks up the price. These prices are set by mopar. Yes they are the same parts that you can get from the supplier direct. Why they did this I do not know. Chrysler sets the price on these not the Dealer. I am a Chrysler dealer and a distributor for AMD Goodmark BE/A etc etc. We do NOT mark up from published list price. IF there is a dealer that does shame on them.

We carry everything currently available for E-Bodies and as the B-body stuff come we will get those parts as well.
