Jacking it up a Bit

 I would like a little bit of lift in the rear end. Not a lot, just a little. My 73 Challenger is a Performence model, with factory sway bar's, front and back. It corner's better than the wife's new Mazda. How much performance handling will I lose, if I switch out those KYB's in the rear, and put in some Air-Shock's.  Thank's, Pat

You could just re-tension the leaf springs? I did and it's a lot better in handling, looks (IMO) and traction.

Do not use air shocks they kill the handling & hurt the chassis of the car , add an extra leaf or rearc or replace the springs both air shocks & long shackles are the wrong way to do it

Why do they even make air-shocks. Not good ride,  terrible and it will break the welds on the shock crossmember sooner or later...
Re-arc the springs and a good adjustable shock will do the trick...

 Air shocks were originally to stabilize pickup trucks when carrying a load. Later, everyone wanted to jack up their ride so the manufacturers added muscle cars to the line.
