Spin off post of (safety first) Free to members

Thank God challengerHK came out ok with the stripper going into the corner of his eyes

His post made me remember something

I have around 20 pair of brand new safety glasses with the shields unopened. And ear plugs galore. Since I am a supervisor on my job, I stock up and over stock on safety stuff.

So if there is anyone, yes anyone  that needs or wants a free set of osha/msha safety glasses just send me an email (not pm) I may not be able to keep erasing fast enough, with your address and name, and I will send them to you when I get home. It wont cost me much at all per person to send them to everyone untill I run out.

If you do not have safety glasses I will give you some, but please do not ask if you have any already. I want to help the ones that really would like a set.

Hope this helps out, and PLEASE keep SAFETY FIRST in all your work :2thumbs:

This post aslo applies to out of country members, I will still send them to you too. I feel this is a small price to pay to ensure my friends/members here are protected.....Al

Sorry Mike, I dont think so, but in your case,  I could send you some goggles  :2thumbs:

Also, They are in my office at home. I may have some here in Ca down in my truck, if I do, I will post a picture of them. These are the newer style type. I think they cost around 15 bucks each, not the older  Buddy Holly style type.

I done had my shower and in for the night, so tomorrow I will see if I can get a pair out while working and snap a picture to post...

But I have to laugh at the question. It sounded like my kids :roflsmiley:  I gotta see em daddy they may not look good on me :smilielol:

Thanks for that reply, I had a tuff day today and needed the chuckle

I should have clarified, I actually am looking for the buddy holly style (old AO safety) since I have a bunch of newer style ones - I couldn't care less how they look on me. The old style are (to me) the most comfortable, started using them in machine shop class in the 80's.

I've got a few sets, Al, but thanks for the offer.

Note to those wondering - it doesn't matter what the safety glasses look like - you'll look foolish in them either way.  :)
