« on: March 05, 2008 - 07:40:05 PM »
hi guys,
i've got new lower balljoints and new upper control arm bushings that came with my car.
i'm gonna stick 'em in soon and was wondering how much work is involved.
will i need to press the old bushings out and the new ones in on the UCA?

any tips etc?

cheers,
aaron.

the lower ball joints bolt in , the control arm bushings need to be pressed into place though either with a press or the bolt type tool that is available

aaron, if you search the 4sale adds, I think it was member hp2 has a tool to rent for you on the front end stuff. Really good guy and really cheap. It will make your life easier useing the right tools for the job

Also, as you get into the job, Chryco has a lot of extra info and tech tips to get you through, Like jack supports and easy ways to use the front end system to release the lower joints up some before taking them off.
