you'll need new brackets and bumpers - that is what I had to do on my 74.

I removed the front outer brackets and re-drilled the holes. With no outer braces.Fill the holes on the bumper with bumper bolts. In the rear,Get 70-72 rear bumper brackets.I used my rear bumper.Drilled holes for the smalled bumper guards.Looks way better IMO.  Sorry can't find a good pic of the back. Let me know if you need some. Robert.

First two pics are not right.I followed some directions from a thread that didn't quite work for me.That was the result.I had to oval the holes.

Based on your avatar are you talking about a challenger?  If so, is it a 73 or 74?  If it's a 73, that's what I have, and I am in the process of doing this right now.  You do not need new bumpers (if it's a 74 then I believe you do), only the 70-72 brackets.  One thing I did have to do with my bumpers is fill the top holes on each bumper where the bumperettes bolted on, but I just had this done ($10 each hole) when they were chromed last month.  We have already test fitted the brackets to the bumpers, and the holes line up just fine.

Not to  :horse: but I just want to be sure.  So on a '73 all I need are the new bumper brackets?  The '73 bumpers will bolt right into it?  Want to be 100% sure before I buy them.
