looking for my dream car, have dart for partial trade
« on: April 24, 2008 - 10:33:24 PM »
i'm looking for a cuda [70 to 74] and as everyone knows it's cheaper to by them done than build them especially up here in the great white north so i will describe exactly what i'm looking for and if you think you have something i may want i would love to here from ya.
i don't care if it is a grand coupe, cuda or barracuda since i'm adding some more modern touches. car must have excellent paint that was a panel off job, painted engine compartment, paint must be a bright colour such as plum crazy, sublime green, yellow ect. white, silver or black is good too just as long as it's not dark brown or pale green and so on. this is my biggest concern due to the fact that a paint job here STARTS at $15,000 with no major body work  :22yikes:. after that i'm flexible but my plan is to stroke a 360, automatic with overdrive, tilt steering, custom seats, different gauges, suspension upgrades ect. now i definately understand that to do all this would be a fortune but i'm looking for something that is close and i'm not buying a car that has a $10,000 drive train that i'm going to give away to do my own thing, so a smogger 318 would be fine, tranny can be toast, interior my need work and so on. this will probably end up being a 73 or 74. i have a 75 dart sport that was rotisseried that i would put towards partial trade, it was appraised last year at $23,500 and i'm asking $19,000. the max $ figure i can go on a cuda is $35,000.
