fader switch & dangling wires????

Mounted my fader switch in the only hole I could find it fit through, sems to me too far away from the radio?
I did pull the after market guages & there is no hole underr them. Rich.

Got some extra wires comming out of the steering column. 2 thin red wires & a plug with 3 wires, purple,tan w/white tracer & green with black tracer, can not find anything to plug it into? any ideas, (an option I don't have?)  Rich.

the
2 red wires are for the key in ign buzzer , the 3 to the plug are the extra harness for the side turn lights on Chrysler 300s etc , all replacemnet switches have the extra pigtail but it i snot used on most muscle cars

I think the fader knob goes right above the radio.  On the angled part of the dash.  Hope I explained that right.

the red wires generally connect to the TS switch wiring plug

72 CO, I'll have to go out & look there, see if there's a hole, mann i took these things off, but I'm not even sure which old car i had that I remember it being down low, but more towards the radio???? Old age, it's a bit........ch!  :icon16: Rich.

Which dash do you have and what year?  My 70 rallye dash has the fader to the left of the wheel and down on the plastic by the heater selector stuff. Factory location on mine
