RMS alterKation questions
« on: April 03, 2008 - 12:34:50 AM »
Anybody out there with one on an E-body...   What length shocks do you have?  What is the distance between the ball joint mounts on the spindle?   It seems my shocks are too long,Or the spindles are too short.  If I get it together the ball joint is so crooked it's dust seal is open.  :clueless:   It was all going to easy there..

That doesn't look too bad. Once the car is on the ground with weight on it I think that upper arm will be closer to level. It's pointing pretty far down now.

:iagree:  The upper should be level with weight on the suspension.

I have not put my stuff in yet but I would take the spring out attach the upper ball joint and reinstall the spring and ajust it to leval.

Yup,I think I got it. I'll play with it after the engine goes in. It got better after it was on the ground. Bill at RMS gave me some good tips, and was very quick to answer questions.  Thanks you guys!   Sure is nice having a place to just run stuff by others. :2thumbs:
