Could use some help, again
« on: April 14, 2008 - 03:54:04 AM »
The spring is coming and I'm working my butt off to get the challenger painted during this summer (proposed my gf and she said yes)  which means that I need work hard to get the car up and running. That is, because when we bought the car I said to her that this car would be the only car I'm sitting on when leaving from the church. So it seems like I have bit over year to get it ready.  :working:

Well, enough introduction. I've been looking for a couple of Astro spray guns and it seems that every company that sells them either doesn't ship internationally, or ships only via UPS which would be much more than the total price of the spray guns. So I would need someone to forward these items to me via USPS. I can pay the shipping fees and other fees via paypal.

I really appreciate the members of this site for their willingness to help other people!
Living on this side of the pond means that I cannot offer much help but I will try everytime I can.

Finland  :faint:

The problem seems to be that these spray guns aren't available in stores with realistic priced international shipping. The guns I'm looking are Astro LVLP:s which should be good guns for a beginner and should be ok for both, a metallic base coat and a normal clear coat. I found one shop from Ebay which has pretty reasonable international shipping but the actual guns are somewhat more expensive and they are missing some of the other paint gun accessories I'm needing. I will probably order these and other items from the spraygunworld.com if I find someone willing to forward them to Finland.

This shoud be pretty painless. If you want to work it out I can surely send them on for you. I do the same for my friends from Canada all the time. What would be the best way to ship to you? If you want just shoot me a PM and I'll give you my address and you can check on shipping.

By the way CONGRADULATIONS!!!

Thanks man! I sent you an email.

I'm not sure if getting married is really worth of gongratulations  :stirpot: :poopoke:

hehe, just kidding. Anyway, we have this saying in Finland which goes something like this (might be universal, not sure).

"When people get married, the women hope that the men will change while at the same time, the men have high hopes that the women would not change"

The thing is both invariably happen so be prepared and expect it.  Congrats
