AMD roof skin

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has picked up the new AMD roof skin yet. I am tempted...
My other roof is nearly done, but why settle for less than perfect...
Once my car was leveled, I clamped the roof on, making sure that the openings were as true as the car was level. This roof now has a clamp every 5" around the flanges.

Any comments on the new roof skin?
Does Roseville sell it yet?

We have had the cuda and challenger skins for a while now from AMD. Sold a few and waiting on replies for fitment.
I am debaiting on re shinning my 71 cudas roof or fix. Leaning toward replacing

are you working on a cuda or challenger. I do know of one issue on the cuda roof that I have brought upto AMD so they can fix there tooling.

I believe we have met before,
I have been in a couple of times getting parts with my friend Gian, who owns the 3x TX9 71 RT.

I think I am leaning toward doing the new skin. Its a little pricey, but it will save me a Hell of a lot of finish time. I have tons of Rota-broach holes and fab areas to fix and fill. Yeah, I wanna say I am not looking forward to doing that x 200.
When I am ready, I will be borrowing a friends' spot welder to do the job.

Dave, any word on the Door skins?

I am not too far away from Roseville. What days do you work?

Hi Dan. I purchased a challenger roof skin a couple monthes ago from AMD. It fit okay, a little tight in the drip rail near the rear quarters. But overall, it went on really good. I had some of my pics posted in my Restoration thread, Long Term Project. Not sure if they are still there are not.

door skins are slated to be in around september. I am here more than at home regular our hours are mon and thurs 7 to 8 and tue wed fri 7 to 6.

we do have alot of challenger and Cuda as well as B-Body parts in stock.

Thanks for the info.
I am going to try to get my BIW in paint in September. IF I find that I can get a door skin then, fantastic.

I was reviewing some of the comments about the new roof skin. Seems like a winner. I would like to have a look at the flange. Mine seems a little shy, and I have  a vintage roof one that I had to tweak/straighten. Not too bad.
