1963 Dart convertible
« on: April 13, 2008 - 07:43:30 PM »
White, needs a rear floor pan and top for sure. No engine or trans. Original /6 car. The body looks to be in decent shape but I only have a couple of phone pics to go by.  Not sure if I am even interested in it besides the fact that it is a convertible.

My dad sent me some on my phone Al but I dont have the cable to put them into the puter. My phone (Motorola Q) is impossible to send photo mail as far as I can tell because of the Windows format. I will not be keeping this phone much longer, its a pain. My dad is going to send me the photos in email form and then I will post them. The guy has a 67 Coronet 4 door that looks pretty decent, a supposedly very nice 63 Convertible Dart and the white one I have in my phone. I do know it has some pretty bad rust from what my dad says. The interior is absolutely shredded, I know that much. Top is gone. It has the original /6 in it now but the guy wants to use it for the other convertible. He got an offer of 3500 for the "nice" one so this one has to be able to be had for under a grand. I will try my best to follow up with some photos as soon as my dad gets off this job he is on.

I'm sure you if it's as bad as you say, you should be able to get it for under a thou.  I thought long and hard about buying this '63 for less than $5K (I don't recall exactly how much) before deciding I really wanted to get my Challenger running after holding onto it for all these years.  The Dart was pretty straight and had almost no rust, a good interior and top and a rebuilt 225 /6.

Yeah, thats the one. I like them but they are just a bit out of my taste range. I am really stuck on 68 and up cars since that is the kind of cars I saw running around when I was little. Now if it was a 70 Coronet convertible I would be ALL OVER it  :droolingbounce:
I will still post pics when I get them.
