It works like that with the cuda's but I'm not positive with the challengers. . . Someone will know for sure.   :grinyes:

But then you need a 70 bumper too.

Yes and no.   :pullinghair:

You need the 70-72 brackets, but the bolt holes on the 73 bumper are a little differently placed. Soo... you need a 70-72 rear bumper too. I have a 72 on mine.

I just did my 73 rear with the 70-72 brackets, and the holes lined up just fine.  The only thing I had to do was fill in the 2 upper holes where the bumperettes mounted.  Could there be 2 different types of rear bumpers in 73?

Maybe I have it bass-ackwards.  :screwy: Maybe it's the 73 bracket that doesn't quite align with the holes on the 70-72 frame. I just remember one set of holes being about an inch or so further apart on the 73's.

Boy am I bungling this thread.   :bricks1:  :bricks1:  :bricks1:

I do know that the 74 bumper does not work the same way, and that it would have to be replaced.  Maybe that's what you are thinking of?
