I have a 489 shure grip in my 70 manual Challenger,some times going in reverse on hard turn you can hear clunking from the rear,I changed the oil and added anti chatter oil and it fixed it a lot so looks like a rebuild is on the way,due to parts being rare in Australia I shal have to order the rite parts from the states,I would like to find out how to tell if it is clutch or cone LSD before I order a kit and as yet have not removed the center from the car.
