Electric Choke (you guessed it Al !!)
« on: April 28, 2008 - 09:34:48 AM »
No need for 5 pages of troubleshooting here, I just wanted to know: can i connect to the accessory tab in my fuse block with the electric choke wire? You all know the nightmare i went through a couple weeks ago, not to mention my car still doesn't quite "Run the same"

Actually mine is connected to the old ballast resistor feed.  The one you were messing with before.  Since the Summit ignition doesn't use this stuff it is still there for looks.LOL

Tom

I wrapped the elec choke in with the harness while adding some #8 in there too for the alt.

Well, i think im done with those wires for now.....
 :misbehaving:

I did it ghetto style the other day, i left the clip out if the choke arm.... got it warmed up, and reached in and unhooked it....  :icon16:

I wouldn't connect the choke to the ass. wire as it will be active when the ignition is off and the ass is on, extra drain on battery.
