I know that we have this "Show & Drags" section, but to me, its just not cutting it. The posts are vague ie ("2008 Summer Show"), it gets cluttered with pictures of previous shows, etc. As a result, you have to look at practically every thread to see when the event is, where its at, etc. And since they are in order of posting, shows that havent happened yet can be back three pages while shows that are already over, are up front. It's just totally inefficient, and a major PITA.
Are these changes realistic?
1. Sub board for every state.
2. The topic title must include date, event name, city, and state.
3. Sort by topic title instead of posting date, so the events that have already taken place will fall back in line.
If we did this, it would have a lot of advantages as well as making it a valuable tool. It would allow members to find out about nearby events that they might be unaware of, and/or to get together to go to events.
