Can someone recommend a source for a good quality, reliable alternator?

Are you looking for the factory OEM finish and details or just asomething to keep the battery charged?

If not staying OE, I'd be going with Goodies Denso setup http://www.goodysgotacuda.com/DensoUpgrade.html

What is your requirement?

I bought a chrome alternator that looks the same shape as the originals, only it is rated at 75 amps instead of the stock 60 amps. I kinda needed that since my aftermarket amp would cut in and out at a red light.  :eek4:

i don't need anything fancy, just a stock-looking alternator at 75 amps.  BTW, I've already bypassed the ammeter.

Some interesting OE re-manufactured units, up to 114amp,  that won't break the bank at http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?a=G-autoparts

Thanks, everyone.  I went with the Denso unit.

I wanted to mention that I got it from DB Electrical.  They have an eBay store.
