looking for a aluminum master cyl. for manual drum brakes. i know that i need a 4 to 2 bolt adp... what app. of veh. do i look for? 1970 challenger -it came with the m.c.with a bolt in the cap, but i was trying to find one with bail cap,but the auto parts can't even come up with that one either..all of the pics.of a 11323M looks right but in the box that # comes with a bolt on top. so now i am looking for a alum.one or one with the bail top.. thanks  ...i think that i am the only one left with drum brakes..

I am not aware of a 4 wheel drum master in alum , you could use the later style master with the addition of a 10 PSI residual pressure valve in the front brake line

The aluminum mc's are all later model starting around 1980 I think, and would all have been for power disc. One might work for you with a 2 bolt to 4 bolt adapter like you said, however I don't know if their pistons have provisions for the rubber retainer that retains the pushrod in place in the piston for manual brakes when installed?
As for the cast iron original with bail wire, that would be an aftermarket master cylinder, as the OEM ones had the bolt on carp.  I have a remanufactured A-1 Cardone one of those here, that I'll sell pretty cheap if you are interested.  PM me if you are.
