That does sound like a nice car Dusty. It seems that the N-code non R/T cars were ordered cars; not just the garden variety of new Challengers at the dealer. The dealers probably pushed the N-code R/T because it was sent to them that way by Chrysler and it had a higher sticker price.

B08 would translate as November 8, 1969 scheduled build date. It was 8 for august, 9 for september, and because the scheduled build date was only allocated 3 characters on the tag, chrysler switched to alpha coding for the two digit months
