As an update:
 I am one to step back, wait, listen, and take in the whole picture. So, I recieved a call today from this individual and he requested I come down and discuss the issues very politely. The ball is now in my court to do so. And I will. From there it is up to this individual to decide where this will go. Yes it is flustrating. I feel he is just playin me but I need to cover all bases. I built my business from my heart and soul. With God as my guide I can get through this bump in the road. Thank you all for the support...It does do wonders.

Sounds like he just wants to negoiate a lower price.  I would place a lien and proceed.  The longer this drags out, the less chance you have of recovering.
