Slant-6 727 Questions
« on: May 10, 2008 - 02:36:47 AM »
Since I am interested in getting parts together for my future slant six project, I was wondering if someone ever offered a new crate 727 transmission for the slant six.  I found a local guy selling one for $75 that has supposedly sat unused for a number of years.  He said it was suppose to go in a 1973 dodge pickup.

Does this sound correct and does the price seem reasonable?

Also, I know that some of the transmissions were longer that others.  If this were for the truck, which one would it be?

Thanks in advance.

I also remember hearing that too.   :2thumbs:

Here are a couple pics.  I am pretty sure it is a 727.  Does it look right to you?
