Here is what I got today, it looks like they should be shipping whole tops in about 30 days from what I was told over the phone. The e-mail is below.
We are expecting sample Gator grain material in next week that we anticipate will have the correct grain, color as well as the 1,200 hour level (5) UV protection quality. If we are satisfied with this sample, we will begin taking orders for actual tops. Our extensive research and development will ensure that our Gator grain vinyl is "as original" as possible. In fact with our 1200 hour UV protection this will exceed original specs. We anticipate having the roll material to begin production of the vinyl tops in approx 2-3 weeks. The first shipment will be enough vinyl for us to make approx 25 vinyl tops. The final shipment of material will be here in 30-60 days after the first batch. The introductory price has been established at $1,195 each through May. After the 30 day introductory price the cost for each top will be $1,295.
