radiator question.....
« on: May 18, 2008 - 03:51:07 PM »
I have a 22 inch small block radiator and will be putting a 440 big block in the car.  I wsa wondering if there is a company out there that will make me a 22 inch 4 row radiator so that I can use my fan shroud, core support, and fan brackets instead of switching everything over to 26 inch? If not, is there anyone out there that would be interested in trading this for the bb stuff? Just a question.

use a 3 core high efficiency rad , it will cool as well as a 4 core , probably better as the 4 th row is usually to hot to cool anymore anyway

I believe Spectra makes cores , my local Rad guy just orders a new core & reuses the stock tanks & builds it for me

Wow.  Great info!  I am SOOOOO glad I found this site.

I was ready to dump more $ on a new rad & elec fan set-up as my old 2-core OEM 340 radiator allows my mild 340 to run into 220+ degrees....now I find I can re-core my current radiator (that looks right and FITS).

Never thought of that!

Thanks all!
