The body shop that restored my Cuda is run by a Mopar enthusiast - he saw a tab on the front of my K frame and said to his knowledge those were only put on AAR Cudas. Does anyone know the origin of this tab? Knowing Chrysler, I could have an AAR K frame on my 340. Just curious...

The correct number for an AAR is 52. The 52 K-Frame was also used in 318, 340 and 383 cars starting about mid-year model year.

I do not know what a 72 would be for.  :dunno:
