1986 GLHS #328 For Sale 57K Original owner Miles
« on: May 25, 2008 - 10:44:21 PM »
57K mile original family owned Omni GLHS #328.  100% stock, no performance mods.  For those not familiar with this car, it is the fastest Mopar made in the 1980's.  Only 500 built.

Upon purchase the car went to an upholstery shop and had the seats recovered with checkerboard (looks much better than stock). The original seats have been under there unmolested and untouched since 1986 (find another GLHS with that!).  The car was used as daily transportation until 1994, when I parked it because I didn't want to run it into the ground. Car has been driven occasionally since then to keep things from stagnating.  Car received a new fuel tank and fuel pump in 2003.  In the last month I put over $1,500 into the car getting it ready to sell, including:

All new tires
New fuel injectors
Fuel tank flushed and fuel system inspected
Brake system inspection

The car runs and drives great.

Car is currently listed on Ebay with a Buy It Now Price of $5500.

i sold the glhs charger and omni new back in the day. 1500 bucks over sticker was the prevailing market price for a 174 horsepower intercooled turbo dodge omni. the later shelby cars like the shadow and lancer were dogs compared to the omni cars.

good luck with your sale :money:

In Massachusetts the Omni GLHS were $14K, which was $3K over sticker.  My Dad bought this one when the dealer dropped the price $500 because the hood had some orange peel.

Several of you have e-mailed me about there being no Buy-It-Now option.  On Ebay the Buy-It-Now option disappears after a bid is made.  I don't know why that is, but that's how Ebay does it.

I will still honor the original Buy-It-Now price of $5,500 and end the auction early for any board member who wants the car.
