Blinker problem

Ok, my friends car, you turn on the blinker, and the light comes on, but doesn't blink. Anybody have any ideas.

Check the bulbs first, on some cars a burned out bulb will make the blinker flash twice as fast because of lower resistance or not at all.  Otherwise its just a bad flasher unit.  Mine will blink real slow sometimes and its either the flasher or low voltage.  The flasher is under the dash..  dont remember exactly where...

My first thought is a burned out bulb somewhere. If not the bulb, then possibly a bad ground with one of the lights.

If all your lamps work it defintly the flasher I had a 71 Newport that would go through one every couple of months but it was my daily driver my challenger has got the same amount of lamps as the Newport had but I havent had any problems yet. You should use a heavy duty flasher.
