Spray Gun Cleaning
« on: May 28, 2008 - 02:27:52 PM »
Just recieved my new paint guns in the mail and want to clean them for they feel like they have some kind of greasy film on them. I have tons of hardware store paint thinner, is this good enough to clean with or would you recommend something different?

I would use lacquer thinner, not paint thinner (mineral spirits)

You can also buy gun wash from body shop supply stores.   It's some kind of lacquer thinner or solvent.
