(by the way, whats the difference between the 72 & the 73-74 panels?)

I thought they were the same also. They told me that the lock hole spacing was different between 72 and 73

The spacing is about the same but the shape of the hole is quite different.  The '72 is a kind of bombsite shape where the '73 / '74 are bigger and oval shaped

I just got my tail panel for my 73 cuda from AMD the taillight mounting brackets are welded on. at the moment i just have it test fit but it appears to line up very well to the qtrs.
