Nashville is a good time. You have to have fun in the music city! Mike do you run that marathon every year? If so Im pisst because you never hit me up! But if your planning on running it again you can kick it at my place and not have to worry about a room somewhere. Unless you want to be that close to the action!

That was 2006 that I was there. I have to tell you, in all the races I have run, I have to say that one was tops.
There was crowd support the whole way. It was an event the whole city got into. I remember seeing a sign on a fast food restaurant by our Hotel that said "run Forest run".
I don't know if I would do it again, as training $ucks the older you get. I do know I finished in the top 10% though.
The Hotel I stayed at(can't remember the name), was within walking distance of the start. The finish was at the stadium where the Titan's play. So, I had a couple of miles or so to walk back. Of course, that took me past Tootsie's, so when I walked in with my running bib still on, I was treated like I was a hero.
I'm serious. I never saw an entire city get so into an event like this.
