Challenger body line R/T stripes
« on: May 30, 2008 - 02:38:28 PM »
I need to replace the R/T door stripe on my Challenger. I already have the replacement stripe. How hard is it to install myself or should I leave it up to a paint & body guy?

It is so simple when you got the panels clean that even I can do it, and have a dozen times with no problems.  Clean the body, bottle of soapy water and a squeegy, don't do it in direct sunlight and the stripe will slide around for you when you keep it wet to get it where you want it.    Now a bill board stripe would be a challenge to me

Air bubbles are a pain.  :pullinghair:

If you come back the next day and see any, use a sharp pin to pop them, let the car sit out in the sun, and all will be good.
