74 cuda

well still havent got any pics yet, hope to get some soon, i know everyone wants to see the cuda. The last six numbers on the fender tags reads 136117 it is my understanding that there were only 11,000-12000 cars made in 74 whey so many numbers on the tag, how do you read this number.  any help would be great.  thanks randy   found build sheet under back seat,does not belone to this car #bs23l4b271040 car from austin texas.

Each assembly plant started assigning VINs each model year at 100001 and went up from there.

For the 1974 Hamtramck plant, they made Barracudas, Challengers, Dusters, Dart sports, Valiants & probably another A-Body style or two.

The VIN sequence included ALL models from that plant that year.
