    By the way, an easy way to check driveshaft angles is on the U-joint caps.  I space out my angle finder with a socket from the U-joint cap, make a measurement, turn the drive shaft 90 degrees and make the other measurement.  This works on both the trans and rear end.

    I used the socket trick after getting a tutorial from another local site.  Worked well.  As Stroker said and Chrycho I have 0 angle and ordered a 4 degree shim.  That should get me close.

    I will report back when I do it and let ya'll know how it goes.

    Well iused the 4 degree shim and got the nose 2 degrees down as predicted.  Spins smooth now.  The u-joints had 1 bad cap on each end...  I guess I should have changed those a while ago.

    2* isnt enough for a leaf spring car....  4-7 is ideal.......  :2cents:

    Did you lower your car at all ? Why is it you ended up with 0deg in the first place ?
    The reason I ask is that I lowered my car and have the same vibrations as you describe and have long been suspect of it being the pinion angle or the rear center section. When I visably look at it, it apprears to be straight in line but I am not sure how to appropriaty measure it. The cars been sitting for a few years due to other things in my life,but I am trying to revive the passion :)
    I guess I should do some searching to figure this out before I do some real damage :)

    I have it lowered a bit in the back(1 inch) and the same out front.  I used an angle finder from lowes for like 10 bucks to measure the angle.  Check your U-joints as well.

    Tom  Could be the driveshaft too. :2thumbs:
