Remove the rotor from the car, (dust cap, cotter pin, star retainer, nut, bearing, rotor). I'd lay the rotor on some wood face up instead of dead on concrete. Hammer the stud into the rotor hub (use ear protection
). To install the new one you can get some washers, oil on the threads and a lug nut and tighten it in. Last time i did studs (rear axle) i decided to tap them in from behind. Using a good size punch or even a 6" 1/2" drive extension will do the job. Again let the rotor lay on some sort of wood, it is 'fragile/delicate/brittle' i should say against sharp rapps.
