My new Hemi Ram
« on: June 09, 2008 - 07:47:27 PM »
I finally own a Hemi but only in my new truck not my cuda.  :walkaway: It`s an `04 2500 quad cab with an 8` Fisher plow and has the Hemi with only 24,000 miles on it.It`s not very loaded with options but at least it has a/c and a CD player, plow and tow packages but not much else.I got a good eal on it private sale and with the low mileage should last me a long time.

Sweet truck, you'll love the Hemi.  Maybe not the mileage, but you'll love the power.   :roflsmiley:

Have you had to replace the dash assembly? That is usually the first expensive thing to go on the shivvies.
Congrats on the new Ram  :2thumbs:

So far I do love it,100 more hp than the `97 and better milelage to boot-of course "better" is still only 15mpg but I can ride my Kawi to work most of the summer.I already changed out the black grill to a chrome one and I like the look much better.

Nice Ram!  Why would you even consider a chevy?

IDK, my old company had Civvy trucks and had good luck with them so when the time came for a truck for myself(self-employed) I went with the 2005 2500HD 6.0L 4x4 with extra cab and utility boxes on the back for 31500 new.  I priced a comparable ford and dodge and it was insane.  Maybe i'll step up to a dodge when the time comes.

No on the dash, but I already needed some tie rods and bushings replaced at 32K, and i don't plow, go figure.  I just hit 36K this month.  I bought it in Nov of 2004.
