Tire size question
« on: June 15, 2008 - 03:21:10 PM »
I'm getting ready to buy some tires and wanted to know if anybody is running what I'm considering.  70 Challenger, Dana rear, stock perches, can I run a 8" wheel, 4.5" bs with 295/60/15 without problems.  If anyone is running this setup and has pics from different angles please share.  I want to buy the wheels and tires this week.  Thanks for any help.  I did read a bazillion old threads but most pics are gone and I could'nt find this info.

275, you are fine... I don't know if 295 is do-able, I have doubts, but I'm no authority on the subject either.   :dunno:

I have used a 295/50/15 on an 8" rim with 4 " backspacing ,it is a tight fit ,the 275/60/15 is an easy fit , never found a 295/60/15 to try
