How can I find out about the VIN# of a car I owned

I had a Plum Crazy 340-4 barrel with a 355 rear white interior and white vinyl top. I purchaed it at Winfield Motors in Jersey City, NJ. I picked it up on Good Friday in March 27, 1970. I would like to see if it is still around.

Check with your insurance company, if you had a policy on it they should be able to give you a copy.

Some DMVs will do a reverse look up for you, mine has a list of every VIN I ever registered.

If you find out what the VIN is, let me know. I can see if it is one of the ones I am aware of so far.
