    Whats amazing is my buddy takes me to his buddys shop to get the backbrace put on the 8 3/4 for more strength till I can get a dana 60 and low and behold outside his garage is his 70 cuda getting ready to be restored....  :cheers: I encouraged him to be a member and join in the newbie section so hopefully it all goes well and he joins... he is a metal specialist and builds car haulers etc... as well....  :working:

    Hint Hint : he has a flat 70 cuda hood and wants the power bulge style.... can you say ShaKeR conversion hood for someone..... he had mentioned he is also lookin for a 70 cuda grill...............   :working:

    Awsum Stroker.  Meet me somewhere. I will put an extra Dana in the truck and give it to you. I have to drive to Mocksville, NC next week to pick up parts. On I-40 My dana is ready to pick up now, cost me 971.52 total to have it narrowed, perches, axles, and 35 spline power lock to replace the one legger single. My rears only have 354 gears tho

    Good looking out Alan!   :2thumbs:  Im surprised you didnt got with like a 3:73 gear for your Dana though.  You seem so torn between 3:55 and 4:10, I figured you would meet in the middle?

    Hey Stroke, I have a dang near perfect Raisin Bran hood (two scoops) off my 70 'cuda. I need a rust free deck lid. If he buys me a deck lid he can have the hood. On the shipping, he could go in half for the cost of getting the hood from me to him and he could have year one or someone drop ship the deck lid to me. I would even send the hood to him first in good faith since you know him. Al knows me and where my car is so at least he knows I'm not a crook.


    Just checked, 'cuda decklids are 250 at Goodmark. Don't know what a near perfect steel 70 'cuda rallye hood is worth but a fiberglass version is 425.

    I was also thinking of buying a new repop grille for mine. I don't have good headlight buckets. Well, one is good, the other has a corner missing. The grille has a hairline fracture in the middle. I can take pics when I get home soon. I leave the desert soon and I'm so excited to get back to AMERICA!
