vinb, bullit thanks for the info

bullit in the site that you posted the model code for M/T carb is 9091S
the PO of my Chally give me what he said was the original carb  for the 340 M/T but the #s stamp are 9119S do you think that they stamped the #s  wrong..look at the pic :clueless:

9119 appears to be for a later model 77 440   
    looking at two different lists I don't see 9091 listed at all..

6318 73 340 MT F /   6339S   1973   340   Manual   w/N98
                         6318 & 6339 seem to be correct for 73 340 manual

   Post a pic of the front & top & maybe we can tell if it looks correct.....  most of them there is very little difference
but I understand the big block versions were higher cfm.

Alot of guys back in the day of the T-Q where switching parts on them. Some of the center bowls where bigger, but all the parts can be interchangeable...
I have about 15 different T-Q's, all need rebuilding and some need the throttle shafts to be bushed.
Complete rebuilding kits are still available from your local parts store.
