Back Seat Upholstery
« on: June 19, 2008 - 06:51:34 PM »
I installed my rear seat upholstery today and can't figure out how the top edge of the back seat upholstery attaches to the seat frame (see pics)  :clueless:  The wire for the hogrings in the upholstery stops along the top edge of the seat so how do you secure it?  It's got to tuck under somehow.  What am I missing?  The bottom of the back seat was tight, but the cover went on fine.  Thanks

You need to remove the wire from the old seat cover and install it in the new one.

Now why does Legendary make you do that????  I still have the original seat cover so hopefully the wire is still there.  Thanks for the info

You would think for how much the covers cost they could put one more piece of wire in! :clueless:

If they installed the listing rods, they could not fold them for shipping.

They would also be prone to punctures if shipped with them.  ;)
