Capital City Mopar show in Sacramento California (pictures)
« on: June 11, 2008 - 04:20:06 PM »
Anyone going to the Capital City show this year? It is a great event in Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova just outside of Sac. I try and go every year. For those who don't know it's on June 21st (next Saturday).

Yes some friends and I are going then going to Reno to look at a private collection of Cudas.  Not sure on the details but will provide pics.   Did you sell your 70 Cuda on Ebay 72hemi?

Yeah the cuda got picked up by the transporter yesterday, thanks for asking. I'll have my commemorative edition SRT-4 Saturday, because I am not going to drive from Sunnyvale to Redding to get the Challenger and then back to Sac for the show. Not to mention the Challenger still has the 3.91's in it, oh well it will be a great show.

Here are some pictures from the capital city show. Mopar Ed was there and had the new cuda fenders with him. They looked great but putting them on a car will be the real judge.

That burnt orange road runner is actually a sport satellite and was unbelievable in quality. Absolutely top notch, and a very rare combination as well especially the interior.

i agree about the burnt orange car.  great car.  great show as well.  lotsa good looking cars. HOT though.  my cuda took 1st in a body plymouth.

the last one is some redneck engineering.  it sits on a 72 chevy chassis.  he made mounts  and bolted it on and did not cut the unibody.  he did it because he got a shell from a field(as in no drivetrain or suspension and the frame actually sitting in the dirt) so he did something different.  he said he could have it off the frame and on regular suspension in a weekend.
