Turn signal switch whats the difference?

May I ask where you ordered it and what it cost?

Napa gave me a $85 price and Schucks was $123 

I don't mind the $70 it costs on ebay but if there's a $30 switch out there, I'm all over it.   In a world of $4.50 a gallon of gas, any savings helps.

'70 Challenger.  The switches on ebay say they are specific for '71-'74 saying the '70's are different.

If ya'll say the switch is universal, I'll order the O'Reilly one.  I was just curious if it could actually be bought for $30 and where?

When I pulled the steering wheel and looked at it, it looked just like the one I replaced in my '70 Charger last summer.  For now, I have a bare piece of wire connecting across the circuit on the switch giving me at least brake lights.

As usual Chrysler does not have a clue what it is talking about.  Take a Close Look at the switch, it is a "C" Body switch.  Originally 70, 71, 72, 73 and 74 all had different part numbers.  When they had them repo'd they picked the late '72 "C" and "B" body switches  as they were the superceeded numbers for 70-72 models.  As stated about the flasher switch button has to be modified to make them work. If you get a "C" body switch it has the cornering light harness on it that is not used, just let it hang.

I was going to repo all the different year turn signal switches with the correct size flasher buttons, wording, wire colors etc. but decided to do something else instead.

I generally cut off the 3 wire cornering light harness right at the switch before installing it
