    What kind of electronic ignition for 318

    Hi guys  :wave:

    I am in the ending of my projekt, and almost ready to fire the engine up.

    But I will hear you guys:

    I got me a mopar performance electronic ignition "MSD Unit" But what will be the best to hook up that or the Mopar orange box electronic ignition . I like the orange box because its looks original and my wiring hooks easy up with it.

    Can you guys school me

    I am not a big fan of the MSD , it costs too much & is an old design so generally I use the Mopar system ,however the new orange boxes seem to fail a lot so i upgrade to the chrome box most of the time

    Will i could use that Distributor there follow with MSD setup, to the orange/crome box setup. There are 2 wires on the Distributor...

    the MSD dist will work fine with the orange box as long as you can connect the plug to the dist

    I will drop that MSD and go for the stock looking Ignition. it will hook up a lot easyer to my engine wiring there should  be improvet for electronic ignition

    MP ignition is a great set-up.

    Got any side pics of your car.  What are the tire/rim specs?

    Hi..

    The are boyd rims 8x17 Bs 4,5 and 10x18 5,25 bs with 235/45/17 front and 275/35/18 rear. With Dr diff relocation kit on a B body rear.
