70 Barracuda misc parts
« on: July 06, 2008 - 08:31:08 PM »
I have a 70 slant six barracuda that was my everyday car 20 years ago that has now completely rotted away,so I dragged it out and cut it up for scrap but saved anything I thought someone could use. Already sold the seatbacks, door panels front and rear glass and trim, but still have many usable parts left. Nothing is really nice, but it might work for you. I have the front grille with headlamp doors that is almost completely there except for a couple of small pieces gone and a few cracks.Have the turn signal bezels, both bumpers(good only for cores), luggage rack which is all there no dents but rusty, steering column, side window glass and mechanisms(no doors as they were rotted), standard dash(nice),switch panel and most of the interior trim pieces both plastic and metal although some are cracked and busted, heater control stuff, seat belts(shot unless you need some of the hardware for yours), jack(crusty),tailights, speaker grille and vent grilles, and more, basically all kinds of little stuff in a few boxes. If your interested in this stuff  I can bring it all to Carlisle with me and sell it for $700 for the whole pile.....Jim (I`m located in Western NY)

Jim, just a few notes to you

Go to the newbie section and introduce yourself
Put your contact info in your add. Soon a newbie with just 1 post will not post in the forsale adds for his/hers first post.

How did you find this site? what mopars do you own now?
nice parts you are offering, but get familiar with the site and introduce yourself

How much for the fender turn signal lights and rear tail lights? By chance still have the outside mirrors and was the car non A/C ? I need the heater cable for the functions (off, defrost, floor)

Well at this moment I will first try to sell this as a package and if that does not work, then I will piece it out so don`t want to price each thing just yet,but may have to. As I said before I can bring stuff on my trip to Carlisle later this week and catch up with anyone if interested so you can see the parts in person....Jim

Jim, can you please post the VIN number so I can record the car in the registry as being "gone" ?

If you have the fender tag or the codes (or a broadcast sheet from it) even better.

Thanks!

Barry

Jim, do you still have the gas cap? I've been looking for 2 years for one.

Barry, here is the VIN from the barracuda I dismantled: BH23C0B202520 and it`s definetly gone, and I don`t have the fender tag or broadcast sheet. I will also let you know(When I find it)another car I dismantled and scrapped years ago which was a 72 340 cuda. I have the VIN and fender tag somewhere here, just can`t find it!
   John,sorry no gas cap.
Robert, sorry no on the fender turn signals. I do have the driver remote mirror(chromed)but it`s loose and rusty, but it works and the cables are there. Also I have all the rear tail light stuff. The lens on both sides I think are fine, but the rest is pitted, but all there. It`s a non AC car also.

Jackie, can you please check on that and ask what he'd want for it.
