Here's an old tech article from Mopar Muscle.  They seem to be pretty happy with the results.  As far as buying a cap, you can get them pretty much anywhere, but if it was me, I would check with some of the vendors that are members here (Az-Nick, MoparDave, etc).

Known as a dash "cap" not a dash "pad"   I got a cap for my dash. It's temporary,Didn't even glue it on.Just pops right on for now. When I see a pad compared to a cap I want the pad. It's not a comparison. That being said...The cap was 80 bucks,And the pad is 700. If you do it right you can make a cap look o.k. Way better. But it will never look as good IMHO. as a pad. Sorry no pics. :pullinghair:

I capped my dash about 3 years ago and have no complaints ... it hasn't buckled or warped like I was told it would . I even put the under dash cap on too and you can't tell either one is a cap
