Driveshaft loop for '70 Challenger w/ 3" TTI X-pipe???
« on: July 22, 2008 - 03:46:20 PM »
Hey all,

Looking to add a driveshaft loop here to the beast when I get home from deployment this month...I am just wondering who you guys reccomend? I spoke to Mancini about their "bolt in to the crossmember unit" and they said it won't clear the TTI X-pipe  :dunno: & after reading other threads here I noticed people refering to one from uscartool.com, however, for some odd reason I can't access their site on these gov. computers. Anybody running the Mancini or US Car Tool one w/ the x-pipe?? My Challenger is not a resto car so if I HAVE to drill into the floor, then so be it, but if I can avoid doing that then it would be nice, Thanx everyone!! Hope you all are having a nice day!!

With all that adjustability, I can't see why it shouldn't work.  If you down have the confidence in the purchase, you can always make your own.

I've always thought about that part. I too would be interested in purchasing/installing that on my 70 with 4-speed and TTI X pipe system.

I used the type shown thatbolts to the x member...but I cut it and re welded it to sit higher and give me more clearance for my x pipe.  I works great now that I modified it.
