Well I had an encouraging day yesterday, one of the things that frustrated me most and actually was the one that caused me to step back and take a break was the ecu. I could'nt get it and my laptop to communicate, and without that this engine would never run. Well with the help of one of the mods on the turbo forums I got it to work. Now I just have a few little odds and ends to button up and I can fire it. May be by summer it will see the road finally.  Pete

What do you think of the Bigstuff 3 FI ECU? I know you have a very complicated engine to control with the obvious boost. I've got a new 6.1 Hemi I'll eventually be buying the electronics for and it's great to have comments from first hand users. Once it was communicating, is it easy to base map, tune and tweak? I guess the big question I'm asking is-since you seem to be a very hands on builder is this something an average guy with engine and computer knowledge can tune or does it require a shop and dyno?

Sorry about high jacking the original power seat thread  ::)

Thanks, Wes

As far as Power seat tracks; I see many different kinds in the junk yard but haven't pulled anything yet.  I will have to do the same thing for my Cuda since my wife will be driving it. It seems easy enough to do with a cut-off saw, a welder and some old seat tracks. They also need to recline  when installed.
Some models have all of the switches right there on the left of the seat.  Have you looket at all of the domestic and import seat adjusters in the junk yard? Lots to choose from.

Not yet, I'm just now finishing the little odds and ends. Power steering is done, have one wire to connect for alt.,need to check relay wiring to fuel pump something is not right, run heater hoses and finish filling the cooling system. Almost forgot, mounting the blowoff valves and sanding and polishing the merge pipe from the turbos, even though it's temp until I get an intercooler then I can tackle the ECU, that should be fun.
Thanks  Pete
