Help Needed - Edelbrock carb
« on: September 04, 2008 - 08:50:29 AM »
Being the newbie that I am.... I attempted to replace my old Carter carb with a new Edelbrock.
I was pretty proud of myself that I took pictures of the old setup prior to removing the old carb. Problem is the pictures turned out pretty blurry and now I am having a hard time getting all my connections to work.

Would anybody possibly have pictues on the drivers side of an Edelbrock with a Lokar kickdown?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Thanks.... That does help me with the return spring.

Still would like pictures for the throttle cable etc, if anyone has.

There were a ton of pics here about 2 weeks ago with what you need. Look or do a search in engines.  :clapping:

Not an edelbrock but should be similar.

You may need an adapter with the edelbrock, but I'm not sure.

I've had a Lokar kickdown cable on mine for several years and it has always worked great! I liked it so much that I'm going to a Lokar throttle cable on the new 5.7 hemi too! :2thumbs:
