That's hemiken for the complement as for how long it took me to long but if I was to guess at least 16hrs the only thing to finish it would be to add the fish cap!! Rob

Wow, you did all that yourself, beautiful job. You probably know this already, but in case you don't, PG Classics sells re-popped fish caps.

Now here's the big question. Can you tell me how to fix the cracks. My e-mail address is in my profile if you'd rather type it out there. Also, is there anything that can be done with the pitting on the spokes.

Thanks John for the comment as for the pitting not much that you can do that I know of and for repairing the cracks this was my first attempt and I went with the Eastwood product. The thing is who knows if it will hold up to hot and cold environments? The only thing I can say is if you choose to fix it yourself make sure that you clean the crack the best you can free of rust and any brittle particles and ruff up all edges so that the product  bonds correctly I used a dermal toll to do this. After that you have to try and match up the colours or paint the whole thing that the way I went Hope this helps.   Rob

:2thumbs: Looks like you done a real good job. I started out using PC-7 which is the same stuff you got with your Eastwood kit. It works well for steering wheels as long as you are going to paint over it since it's quite dark but like you also mentioned, it will not hold up to the temperature changes very well. If your wheel is going to be subjected to very cold weather during the winter storage, you should take it off and put it in the house. I've tried several different types of materials over the years with varying results. The material I use now is the only one that holds up to the temperature changes without cracking or coming back out (No I can't tell you what it is). That's why I can put a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our work. Good luck with your project.
