Bench Seat????

I was wondering if my car was originally equipped with a bench seat as it had the wrong bucket seats when I got it, the console is green and I believe the column has been changed.

If you have the fender tag it will tell you what came originally...if your interior was black for example; the code would be 'H6X9' for black buckets or 'H4X9' for black bench seats.

Fender tag and build sheet are long gone... and because 90% of my seatbelts were missing I cant tell from that either.

Is the console bracket on the floor the same for the bench seat?

There would not be a consule bracket if it had a bench seat

I didn't know if the bench seat used the same bracket to bolt the seat down somehow.

The bench seats bolt in to the outer bolt holes same as the buckets but the inner holes are still present but are filled in with rubber grommets when a bench seat is used.
