Bellhousing question

I have a bellhousing part # 2468372 , the book shows it for 65 - 66 big block c and b bodies, will this work on a 70 E body or B body with a standard 833?  I'm not sure if it means it's the wrong part number or it just plain won't work.

this will bolt togehter but if the part # is different something must be different about the bell , the pivot mount for the Z bar may be different or something, the 833 was always the same as long as the brg retainer diameter is the same as the bell housing hole dia
