Thanks again for the welcome. The magazine article was a huge surprise. My wife and I had taken the car to the '07 Spring Fling Speed Festival at Willow Springs. I looped the car in turn three and totally covered every square inch of it in dirt, top, bottom, inside, etc. That was Thursday, I spent a lot of time on Friday cleaning but the car was still filthy when Rob shot the photos. We were sitting behind the car watching people walk by when a guy with an English accent walked up and started talking to us. He was a real nice guy and went gaga over the car. His wife's Magnum had been OverHauled by Chip Foose. Rob walked up a little time later and this guy put him on the spot to shoot the Cuda so he made an appointment with me across the street at the golf course.
After the photo shoot I took Rob for a little ride down the street and back. I had more than one person come up and tell me I was the luckiest guy on the planet becasue the cops patrol that street pretty heavy when the show is going on. My car hasn't been street legal since around '93!
The text has a few mistakes but is for the most part accurate. They did a good job.
